Access system
The user-friendly NFC access system gives you secure and convenient access to your Mini Cabin and luggage compartments.
1. Open the door
To open the door, please hold your card up to the card reader until a green LED light comes on.
2. Locking the door
Once the door of your Mini Cabin is completely closed, it is also locked and can only be opened from the outside with the corresponding access card.
3. Card holder
You can easily store your NFC access card in the card holder next to the door so that it is always within easy reach. Please leave the NFC access card in the card holder when you get off the train.
4. Door retainer
You can keep the sliding door open during the journey by using the leather strap. To do this, please fasten the strap to the wall using the press stud.
5. Connecting door
Travelling with others? Adjacent Mini Cabins can easily be connected to each other using the adjoining door. However, if you want some privacy, you can simply close and lock the connecting door.
As soon as the sliding door is locked from one side, it can no longer be opened from the other side. This means you always have total control over your privacy.
Luggage storage
Please take note of your Mini Cabin number: you will find a useful locker for your hand luggage (max. dimensions 40 x 55 x 23 cm) with the same number right next to your Mini Cabin. There is a separate, lockable compartment for your shoes (max. dimensions 18 x 57 x 15 cm).
- You will find a card reader next to the door of your Mini Cabin: to open your luggage compartments, please hold your card against the device until a green LED light illuminates on the corresponding luggage compartments. The compartment will remain unlocked as long as the green LED light is illuminated. Simply push the compartment closed to lock it; there is no need to lock it separately.
- We recommend taking a small bag with the most important items directly into your Mini Cabin so that you have the essentials to hand.
- Please ensure that your luggage does not exceed the specified dimensions. Otherwise they must be stowed separately (limited space available).
