Kindly send special requests for food served on the Nightjet trains (e.g. gluten-free breakfast) to the following e-mail address until 72 hours prior to your departure: email@example.com.
In the couchette cabin, you will receive a "Viennese breakfast" (coffee/tea, 1 bread roll, butter, jam). In the sleeper car, you can configure your breakfast according to your wishes based on the menu.
All compartments can be locked by the passenger, while an intercom system allows you to directly contact the train team. Couchette compartments can be closed from the inside. Seat carriage compartments cannot/are not allowed to be closed from the inside.
On many routes, passengers with limited mobility can make use of a coach with wheelchair-accessible couchette compartment and adjacent sanitary facilities. This couchette compartment provides room for one passenger with a wheelchair and one accompanying person.
Further information on this can be found at the travel categories - Couchette coach with wheelchair compartment.
Sleeper car beds and couchettes will automatically be prepared from 10:00 p.m. onwards at the latest. If you already wish to go to bed at 9:00 p.m., the sleeper car beds or couchettes in the compartment will be prepared earlier as needed. In the morning, the compartment will be changed at 8:00 a.m. at the latest. Some trains have times which deviate from this schedule. In these cases, you will be informed by our employees accordingly.
Please stow easy-to-stow luggage using the luggage racks above the seats. As their height is limited, please stow bulky luggage under your seat or in suitable luggage racks, if available. For the safety of our passengers: please keep the passageways, doors and escape routes free at all times. Luggage must be stored in a way that ensures that other passengers are not inconvenienced or impeded.
