To make travelling overnight even more pleasant, we have ordered a fleet of new Nightjets. In addition to more privacy and improved levels of comfort, you can also look forward to even more individuality. The first Nightjets with the new design are on track for departure starting in 2022.
More privacy on the night trains
The new generation of seven-carriage Nightjets have two seating carriages, three couchette carriages and two sleeper carriages. Here, too, ultra-modern design is combined with even greater comfort. In the couchette carriages, mini-suites offer even more privacy for solo travellers. In the sleeping carriages, travel will be even more comfortable, as the standard and deluxe compartments will in future have their own toilet and shower. Of course, the usual compartments will still be available but will be upgraded to the new design. New on board is the free WiFi service, which used to be restricted to long-distances journeys on the Railjets but will now also be available to passengers on board the new generation of Nightjets.
